Welcome

Welcome to Keren and Mike’s wedding site. Here we’ll post essential (and frivolous) information about our upcoming nuptials.

Directions

Buerge Chapel at the Aldersgate Retreat Center
We’re getting married under the chuppah in Buerge Chapel at the Aldersgate Retreat Center. A chuppah in a chapel? Yes, it's like two great religions that taste great together. Mmm... mmm.
Location
Aldersgate Retreat Center
925 Haverford Avenue
Pacific Palisades, CA 90272
(310) 454-6699

Parking
There is a lot adjacent to the retreat center, but we're trying to reserve that for our more senior guests and delivery folks. So, if you're not yet a member of the AARP, we'd like to make a few suggestions:
  • Carpool if you can. Have friends coming to the celebration? Share a ride. Save gas and get the chance to gossip about your other friends who you're not riding with.
  • Use our secondary lot. We have permission to use the Pacific Palisades Woman's Club parking lot on Temescal Canyon Road. The lot is just north of Bowdoin Street. Below is a handy map. Please DO NOT park in the Palisades Theater lot on Temescal, which is just north of the Woman's Club lot. Also, please DO NOT park in the Woman's Club parking lot adjacent to their building on Haverford.
  • Park in the neighborhood. There is street parking around the retreat center. You can park on Temescal Canyon Road, Haverford Avenue, Radcliffe Avenue or Antioch Street. You should be fine because it will be a Sunday, but check signs to be sure.
  • Leave a little extra time. Better to arrive a few minutes early than trying to sprint in heels. Believe me, I know.

You can park in the Pacific Palisades Woman's Club Parking Lot on Temescal Canyon Road.

Heifer encourages its recipients to share the gift by passing on offspring to others. Thus, it is truly a gift that keeps on giving.

  • Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam/Oasis of Peace
This Israeli village of 50 families, half Palestinian and half Jewish, was created to demonstrate that the two peoples can live together as equals. Through their various educational projects, they reach out to the other communities to further the work of peace.
